A Message From The Host

I must confess, when we first launched the Phil Oates Celebrity Golf Tournament, I was apprehensive!  Would enough sponsors participate?  Would we make even a dollar for charity?  How many top-level celebrities would travel to Northern California?  Now over six months later, those questions are answered.  The leadership of the tournament was thrilled with the response and outcome. 

• Almost $280,000 was donated to deserving charity.

• Many infamous celebrities were introduced to the Sacramento Community for the first time.

• And we sold out in less than six weeks.

All I can write is THANK YOU.  We never would have reached our goals without you and your faith in our promise to provide a wonderful event.

 

Now the challenge is, “How do we top our first year in building the 2022 Phil Oates Celebrity Golf Tournament?"

 

To have more comfortable weather the tournament is scheduled for October 16-17.  We have narrowed our list of Sunday night locations to a couple of iconic locations in our community.  The golf will again be played at North Ridge Country Club, which did a fantastic job serving all of us last year.  And already many sponsors have already stepped up.  We have more money committed than last year but still have a few groups available.  We will be extending our charities to at least nine entities.  And we have added some the best from Hollywood and professional sports to an already epic roster of stars.

 

I am humbled that this tournament has quickly become one of the top golf fundraising events.  Everyone had a memorable time last year.  We promise the same in 2022.  Blessings
